Why Register

The site registration has been introduced not to "hide" part of the site to the occasional visitor (most of the content is still available also to non-registered users) but above all to add (a bit at a time) new content, and automatize some services (as the database download) that were handled, more slowly, by email.

At present (at the time of implementation) the registration allows to access statistics, search and more listings of the beer database and to download the database itself; and to view and download all the label scans at full size. In the future the same registration would permit to access other services, (for example a forum)
